UNFPA, Nepal, pregnancy, birth, young person, women, sexual and reproductive health and rights UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is the lead UN agency for delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every birth is safe, and every young person's potential is fulfilled. UNFPA expands the possibilities for women and young people to lead healthy and productive lives. UNFPA's support to Nepal began in 1971. The current Seventh Country Programme commenced in 2013 and will end in 2017 to coincide with Government's interim development plan for 2011-13 and sectoral strategies. read more
