UNFPA's Tenth Country Programme (2012-2016) is consistent with the national priorities of Thailand as identified in the eleventh National Economic and Social Development Plan.
What we do
- help reduce unwanted pregnancies, especially among young people
- use evidence to support population and reproductive health policies and programmes
- advocate for the collection, management and use of solid and unified national statistics for development planning
- help stop the advance of of HIV/ADIS, particularly among young people and sex workers
- improve the reproductive health and rights of displaced persons and migrants
- reduce violence against women
- improve Thailand's capacity to act as a provider of technical assistance to less advanced countries
